I finally made it to Bangkok at 10:30 pm on Thursday (I think that would be about 8:30 am on Thursday in the States.) The flights over where good. On my first flight to Seattle I sat next to a lady who was from Thailand!!! Definitely reassurance that moving to Thailand is where I was supposed to be :-)
When I arrived the temperature was 86 degrees!!! It is definitely going to take me awhile to get used to the heat. Going through customs was fine, although on my way through the exit I was the one person out of a very large amount of people to be stopped and have my bags scanned, yet again lol. I don't know what I could have possibly put in them from the time of getting them off of the baggage carousel to the ten steps it took me to walk to the exit lol.
I was the first to arrive at the apartment and Brittney and Justina came about an hour or so later. We all stayed up and unpacked...well what we could anyway. We have a few pieces of furniture, but no hangers to hang clothes, or enough storage bins to store toiletries and things like that.
God certainly protected me and got me here safe. Now the adventure begins!!
